Our Empowerment and Skills Development Program focuses on equipping youth with essential employability, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills to enhance their socio-economic opportunities and drive community development.
Through comprehensive training programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives, we empower young individuals to become self-reliant, innovative, and capable of contributing positively to their communities and the national economy.
Three EDF cohorts providing entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and pitching sessions where participants present their business ideas to potential investors. EDF strengthens youth economic empowerment and innovation through hands-on learning and real-world business development experiences.
The fellowship includes business plan development, market research, financial management training, and networking opportunities with successful entrepreneurs and industry experts. Participants receive ongoing support even after program completion to ensure sustainable business growth.
EDF Impact
EDF was established with the objective of equipping young people with entrepreneurial, innovation, Leadership and digital skills that enable them to create sustainable solutions to real community challenges, promote self-employment, and achieve economic self-reliance. To date, EDF has been implemented in three cohorts, reaching over 120 young people, who have benefited from capacity building, mentorship, and opportunities to develop and implement impactful community-driven projects.
The Digital Literacy Program equips participants with essential digital skills to safely and effectively navigate the online world. The program covers cybersecurity, digital creativity, social media use, artificial intelligence, and digital citizenship. It also introduces productivity tools, data skills, and digital well-being. Participants gain confidence to use technology for learning, communication, and innovation.

The program introduces foundational and advanced topics, including online safety, creative digital tools, responsible social media use, artificial intelligence awareness, and digital citizenship. By integrating hands-on practice, real-life applications, and ethical guidance, the program ensures peoples develop the capacity to use technology confidently and responsibly for education, work, and everyday life.
The Soft skills training have been conducted, equipping vulnerable youth with essential skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional development. These skills are crucial for workplace success and personal growth.
Our training modules include effective communication, conflict resolution, time management, leadership development, and professional etiquette to prepare youth for successful careers. We use interactive methods like role-playing, case studies, and real-world simulations to ensure practical skill application.
